Jodi is a crescent shaped shawl worked in DK yarn with beautiful faded lines and a garter stitch based lace pattern. Choose 3 colours in a gradient scale for a subtle faded effect like the sample, or 3 different bold ones for a bolder look.
This shawl is worked from the centre top down. Stitches are increased at each side on every other row to give it its characteristic crescent shape. The stripe sequence in this design make the colours change progressively, almost like a gradient.

Meterage: 600m of DK weight yarn in 3 different colours. You will need approx. 200 m in Colour 1, 220m in Colour 2 and 180 m in Colour 3.
Size: Approx.180 cm from side to side and 37.5 cm from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) needles
Notions: Tapestry needle, a split ring st marker, blocking pins or wires.
Gauge: 14.5 st and 32 rows to 4” (10cm) in garter st on US 7 (4.5 mm) needles after blocking.
