Knit on the bias, Headwaters is a fingering weight triangular shawl with an asymmetrical shape, perfect for wrapping around your neck. Varied sections of water-like lace are separated with meditative garter ridges and stripes, then finished off with a picot edge. A lightweight shawl but with the warmth you need on those cooler days and nights.

Size: Approx 195 cm wingspan x 58 cm at deepest edge
Needles: Gauge Needle: Size US 5 (3.75 mm) 81 cm (circ) needle — or size necessary to obtain gauge
• Smaller Needle: Size US 4 (3.5 mm) 81 cm (circ) needle — or one size smaller than gauge needle
Sample shown used a needle one size smaller than gauge needle for lace panels because those sections are generally knit at a looser gauge than the garter body.
